Materialen gebruikt in plastic koffiekopjes

Veel voorkomende materialen voor plastic koffiebekers zijn polystyreen (PS), polypropyleen (PP) en polyethyleen (PE). Polystyreen (PS) heeft een hoge transparantie (lichtdoorlatendheid groter dan of gelijk aan 90%), maar slechte hittebestendigheid (<60℃) and is brittle. Polypropylene (PP) has high mechanical strength (tensile strength 30-40MPa) and high temperature resistance (120℃), but lower transparency. Polyethylene (PE) is highly corrosion-resistant and inexpensive, but lacks rigidity (flexural modulus approximately 200-300MPa). PP material, because it meets food contact safety standards (FDA certification), is more suitable for holding hot drinks. It is recommended to choose based on the usage scenario: PS is suitable for displaying cold drinks, PP is suitable for taking hot coffee to go, and PE is suitable for low-cost short-term use.
